The expulsion of Russian diplomats from Slovakia, misguided, regrettable and contrary to the spirit of cooperation, a move that will remain unanswered. About it reports a press-service of Embassy of Russia in Slovakia.

In August 2019, as reported by Rambler, a Russian citizen Vadim K. shot in Berlin of Georgian citizen Zelimkhan khangoshvili, terrorist, co-organizer of explosions in Moscow metro in 2010. K. was detained.

Some time ago the Slovak authorities declared persona non grata and expelled three Russian diplomats in connection with this case for the reason that their activities were contrary to the Vienna Convention.

Today at the Russian Embassy in Slovakia called it counterproductive and regrettable step, which is contrary to the spirit of fruitful cooperation between the two countries. They reported that adequate response will certainly follow.

“Despite the unfriendly actions, the Russian side reaffirmed its commitment to the long tradition of pragmatic and mutually respectful relations between our countries and peoples,” — said the Embassy.
