The head of the government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin congratulated all Russian citizens on the Day of spring and labour. A letter to the Russian Primera was read by the Chairman of the Federation of independent trade unions of Russia Mikhail Shmakov in the course of the Union roll call.
“Dear friends! Please accept my sincere congratulations on may 1. This spring festival has a rich history. It is celebrated by people of different ages and professions in many countries. It brings together all who are accustomed to hard and creative work, able to achieve success by honest and conscientious work”, — stated in the text of the letter.
He highlighted the role of the Federation, calling the organization a “vital social institution, which is involved in improving the current labor law, maintains a constructive dialogue with the authorities and the business community”.
