Moscow. June 1. INTERFAX.RU — the spread of the coronavirus in Russia is gradually on the decline, the incoming data give grounds for cautious optimism, however, need to prepare for any situation, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“the Situation with coronavirus infections in the whole country remains stable, according to experts, the spread of the virus is gradually on the decline,” — said Mishustin at the meeting of the Presidium of the Council on the fight against COVID-19 under the RF government.

He reminded that a week in the whole country the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the day does not exceed 2.3%, and in some regions — 2%. We are talking about Moscow, Sevastopol, Republic of Crimea, North Ossetia, Chechnya, Murmansk, Astrakhan and Magadan regions.

According to him, the country’s health system was quickly set up to combat the coronavirus, the result is a considerable reserve for the treatment of patients with this infection. “Just for today there are 180 thousand patients of this profile. This is currently an adequate supply for our region,” — said Mishustin, noting that this provision allows medical institutions of the country gradually to return to normal operation.

At the same time Mishustin stressed that the government continues to monitor the situation with the spread of infection. “Again, we must be prepared for any eventuality,” he said.
