Microsoft revealed the design of the updated Windows 10

this week the number of active users of Windows 10 has exceeded a billion people. In honor of this event, Microsoft has released a video, which hinted at upcoming features and updates interface.

Video cutting fragments of the past and the future design posted on instagram Panos Panay, head of Windows development and Microsoft devices. It reveals that the company is going to discolor the “live tiles” (Live Tiles). The substrate for the icons in “start menu” will be less contrast that visually creates more space between them, and the eye was easier to slide on a grid of applications.

The team made this video to celebrate making it to 1 billion MAD on Windows 10 and I wanted to share it with all of you. Now at a time when so much of our work and communication is taking place through our devices, its especially humbling to know that Windows can help empower a billion people to stay connected to the things and people they care about #Windows

Along with this Microsoft are working on the unification of the “fluid” design (Design Fluent). The company has previously redrawn in the same style icons of Microsoft Office, many of which have not changed over the years, and now took up icons in the other built-in programs and interface elements.

in addition, the changes will affect the context menu in Windows 10, and file Manager “file Explorer.” How they will look like shown in the screenshots above.

the Teaser was released shortly before the online presentation of Microsoft, which is scheduled for March 30. As expected, the event will be announced a new type of monthly subscription of Microsoft 365 for consumers, which will combine Office, communication service Microsoft Teams, password Manager and other products of the company.
