American Microsoft has suspended talks on buying from a Chinese company ByteDance American units developed by the social network TikTok. This was reported by the newspaper The Wall Street Journal.
According to the publication, Microsoft decided not to buy TikTok because of the negative attitude of the President of the United States Donald trump to this social network. However, sources say that negotiations about the purchase may be resumed after the White house explain its position on this issue.
In recent weeks, the publication, the US administration has signaled that it would prefer that the American division TikTok came under the control of American companies.
