All victims were expected to live

According to reports, police in Kalamazoo (Michigan ) shot and killed a suspect on Saturday after he had allegedly fired at three people aboard a bus.

Officials identified the suspect as Anthony Oliver, 54. He opened fire on Metro buses near Kalamazoo Transit Centre around 9:15 a.m. ET, FOX 17 Grand Rapids reported.

The motive of the suspect was not clear, according to police.

It was expected that all the victims would survive.

Oliver was later taken to the hospital. MLive.com reported that Oliver was shot in the back after he exchanged fire with police officers outside the bus.

According to FOX17, Metro bus service was cancelled for the remainder of the day.
