Mexico agreed with OPEC and the USA reducing oil production

Moscow. April 10. INTERFAX.RU — Mexico has agreed with OPEC+ and the USA reducing oil production, reports Bloomberg words of President andrés Manuel lópez Obrador (Andrеs Lоpez Manuel Obrador).

In the night from Thursday to Friday, OPEC+ agreed on a deal to reduce oil production, provided that it will join Mexico, which failed to convince during the 11-hour meeting of the Alliance.

the Agency Dow Jones quoted Obrador, Mexico will reduce oil production by 100 thousand b/d, while OPEC+ wanted country had reduced production to 400 thousand b/d, and then to 350 thousand.

the President of Mexico said that the deal to reduce oil production followed a bell with the President of the United States Donald trump. According to him, the USA will take on an additional 250 thousand b/d of cuts.
