Medina asked the foreign Ministry to monitor the state of historical monuments abroad

assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of RVIA Vladimir Medinsky asked the foreign Ministry to monitor the status of overseas sites associated with the history of the country.

“I appealed to the leadership of the Ministry of foreign Affairs to our embassies are actively involved in the monitoring of all monuments, sites and so on, in the territory of foreign countries, laid out the relevant photos, so we can see what state it is,” said the ex-Minister of culture.

According to Medina, in Eastern Europe, and in many cities around the world is a large number of graves and memorials related to the history of Russia.

Recall that in Prague on 3 April demolished a monument to the legendary Soviet commander, Marshal Ivan Konev, to transfer it to private owners.
