TASS, may 7. Turkish scientists have developed a drug for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, which proved its efficiency in laboratory conditions. This was reported by the Anadolu Agency on Thursday.
the Drug is “TR-C 19” was developed by VSY Biotechnology in collaboration with the Istanbul University of medical Sciences.
the rector of the University Cevdet Erdol noted that the project has now reached the stage of clinical trials.
“as a result of our research work, supported by the Ministry of health, we developed the drug “TR-C 19″ and were able in the laboratory to neutralize the coronavirus.
