MOSCOW, may 5 – RIA Novosti. The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko has read the project of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, a poem by Robert Rozhdestvensky and advised on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory front to read poetry.

According to Matvienko, in the framework of the CIS IPA, which she heads, had to do a project: a few people – actor, veteran, politician and a representative of the young generation read a single work, a poem about the great Patriotic war.

According to Matvienko, she had to re-read, “even to survive”, a lot of the front of poetry, including Konstantin Simonov and Alexander Tvardovsky, Bulat Okudzhava, Olga Bergholz. In each of them, she said, felt a particular person in a soldier, standing in front of a huge, endless war that we must win.

as a result, Russia has opted for the poem “Requiem” by Robert Rozhdestvensky.

“Read – and the magic of some kind: the words are simple, and as if more become stronger. Read,” she said.
