“The CYBER-criminal sends you an email stating your password while they are typing, that you have visited some pornohjemmesider. At the same time threatens to send evidence of this to your Facebook-contact, if you do not pay an amount in bitcoins.”

Claus Birkelyng adds, that the sender just hope that a beneficiary falls into the trap of:

“The CYBER-criminals hope that maybe just one out of a hundred recipients jump in with both feet and pay. But it should never do. You must delete the mail, and it is evident from the afpresningsmailen that the criminals have a password, you are still using, then you must change it immediately.”

Police concludes the press release, to inform the danes about how they can get help with security on the internet.
