President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko knows where the winds blow on the Belarusian land. He stated this at a meeting with KGB Chairman Valery Vakulchik, reports “BelTA”.

“We know where the winds are blowing on our Belarusian land. Unfortunately, not the side where I would like. But we are ready for any winds,” – said the President of Belarus.

According to him, in contrast to the situation during the Soviet period, Belarus has learned “to deal with these winds and hurricanes”.

“Then we do not know how to fight. Therefore, it was not a sovereign and independent state”, – concluded the President.

He urged not to allow a repetition of history when Belarus “was divided into parts, join pieces one earth to another.”

Lukashenka also said that he will not allow the country’s “Maidan” on the eve of presidential elections in the country.
