President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that it opposed the indiscriminate sale of state enterprises, noting that they were created by previous generations, and offered their employees to try first "himself to work" without the sale of state property to strategic investors. This Lukashenka’s statement made on Friday during a visit to Minsk tractor plant.

"Here (in state-owned enterprises – ed.) invested the labor of those no longer with us. How can we take that and sell it? For what, why? Let’s try to work themselves to the product that you make, were the right people" – quotes words of the President’s official press-service . However, he warned workers that if they work poorly, will "walk the poor". "Because the competition for your products is enormous, you know it", – said the head of state.

In this regard, he also said that his mother "were taught from childhood..: do not touch someone else". "It is the law of life: everything has to be right and another can not touch", – said the head of state.

Lukashenko noted that in the electoral period in the country there are proposals to sell off state-owned enterprises, and the money spent on reform. "sounds Nice. But you understand what I said? Not all of them. This means that the state that we have, including the plant, the state tomorrow will sell and the money will be spent on some reforms. Think that will sell, but the money will not go to the reform", – said the Belarusian President.

He stressed that the rampant privatization – not his policy, though he himself was not against the sale of state property. "First tell me how much you pay. And I think it worthwhile and do I need to sell this company", – said Lukashenko.
