Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko is pushing people to mass riots. this explanation was expressed by the former candidate on a post of the President of Belarus Valery Tsepkalo.
“”the Maidan” provokes he [Lukashenka]. No one among the alternative candidates never talked about “independence”. We just want to have it honestly counted. We just wanted to go to the presidential election, just honestly present your program and just fair to give the Belarusian people an opportunity to choose the way of the future, which the Belarusian people see,” said Tsepkalo, the TV channel “Ukraine is 24”.
The Central election Commission of Belarus has not registered Tsepkalo a presidential candidate. Policies, according to members of the CEC, failed to collect the required number of signatures to continue to participate in the race, reminiscent of the TV channel 360. The candidate tried to challenge the CEC decision to the Supreme court, but he dismissed the appeal. Presidential elections held in Belarus on 9 August.
