Quebec screenwriter, actor and director Eric K. Boulianne received the Pardi di domani Best Director Award at the Locarno International Film Festival for his short film Faire un enfant.

Faire un enfant is a minimalist dramatic comedy, whose screenplay and direction are signed by Boulianne, who also plays one of the two main roles opposite Florence Blain Mbaye. They play a couple in their thirties deciding to start a family and trying to preserve their love over the course of their many trials.

His film will have its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), in official competition in the Short Cuts section.
