Russia “risking”, if you will have a Belarus military support, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius. This was reported by Reuters.

“Russia is a very big risk if you do this, in the face of what is happening in Belarus, in the face of mass support. She needs to understand that the invasion is not justified, neither legally nor morally, nor politically,” said Linkevicius.

According to him, for military support of Minsk on the Russian side there is no reason and justification.

“It would be an invasion of the country and destroy the last vestige of her independence,” — said the head of Lithuanian foreign Ministry.

Earlier, on 16 August, the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Russia is the first request of Minsk will have full support for the security of Belarus in case of external military threats, passed the “BelTA”.
