the European Union has not provided a single fact regarding the alleged cases of misinformation on the part of Russia on the coronavirus. This was stated on April 28 Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov following informal meeting of foreign Ministers of BRICS countries in the videoconference format.

this refers to the periodically published reports of the foreign service of the European Union, in which the media publications of different countries are assessed as intentional disinformation.

“as for the statements of the European external action service, statements of this kind – about the misinformation that supposedly extends our countries about what is happening with the coronavirus, I even comment is not quite correct, because a single fact that would confirm such allegations, we filed was not,” said Lavrov.

According to him, “we have learned that our Western colleagues are increasingly trying to find some unifying motifs in the fiction about the Russian or some other threat.”
