The foreign Ministers of Russia and Finland Sergei Lavrov and Pekka Haavisto during a telephone conversation discussed the possible opening of the Russian-Finnish border.
“Sergei Lavrov and Pekka Haavisto exchanged views on the situation on the Russian-Finnish border, given the restrictions imposed on her crossing, discussed a possible timetable for their withdrawal”, — stated in the message of the Russian foreign Ministry.
Previously, Finland has extended the restrictions on the border with Russia until September 8.
Vice-President of the Russian Union of travel industry (PCT) Yuri Barzykin in an interview with TV channel “360” commented on the resumption of international flights.
