The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Laramie and Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had a phone conversation, during which discussed the coordination of the return of citizens to their homeland.

This is stated on the website of the Russian foreign Ministry.

“the Parties discussed the situation with the pandemic coronavirus infection, the two States adopted measures to counter its spread, the prospects of cooperation in this field. Emphasized coordination in the repatriation of citizens of Russia and Turkey to Ukraine”, — stated in the message.

It is noted that the Ministers also exchanged views on the progress of the peaceful settlement in Syria.

Earlier, the health Ministers of Russia and Turkey Mikhail Murashko and Fahrettin koca at the end of the videoconference agreed on cooperation in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus infection.
