On the night of Sunday, the police searched a house in Itzehoe in Schleswig-Holstein. While police are reluctant to provide information, a report says a soldier was hoarding weapons and explosives in the house.

According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, a Bundeswehr soldier is said to have hoarded various weapons and explosives, including booby traps, in his house in Itzehoe (Schleswig-Holstein).

The units were accessed during the night, and in the morning pictures still show some units in the vicinity of the house.

So far, the police have only written: “On Sunday at 1.30 a.m., a search took place in Sandstrasse as part of a cross-border operation. Since weapons were found during the search, the explosive ordnance clearance service supported this measure. For reasons of investigation tactics, no further information can be given at the moment.”
