He stressed that the final decision will be for regions, but buffer zones as in the “far Eastern hectare” (not closer than 10 km from cities with population over 50 thousand people, or 20 km with the population more than 300 thousand), in the Arctic is not provided. According to Krutikov, the free accessibility around settlements in the Arctic does not exceed 10-30 km.

“We hope that the regions will allocate under the program areas where basic infrastructure is already there. First and foremost, around the cities,” – said the Deputy Minister.
