Kyiv hopes for assistance of Washington with the Crimea and Donbass

the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called for more active US involvement in the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the East of the country. He stated this during a joint press conference after talks with U.S. Secretary of state Michael Pompeo.

The Ukrainian leader he said that the United States was and remains a key ally of Ukraine in protection of its sovereignty.
