the First President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk in an interview with reporters, said that the need for serious financial investments in the war-ravaged Donbass for the restoration of its damaged infrastructure not afraid of the official Kiev – region sooner or later will be returned under the control of the Ukrainian authorities.
As the portal NSN, Leonid Kravchuk, stressed, no low morale of the Ukrainian authorities on this issue.
“I am meeting with the current leadership of Ukraine – President Zelensky, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers and members of Parliament. And any pessimistic statements on the Donbass have not heard…. We need to rebuild the infrastructure… in areas where there is a war. Almost two million people moved into the territory of Ukraine. They lost everything… How much will this restore known. But even thought we do not assume that we do not need Donbass… Ukraine should be returned”, – said Kravchuk.
the Politician agreed that the work will be very costly, complex and lengthy, but it will be done. And, for this purpose, according to Kravchuk is not superfluous to take the help of Russia.
“There is a belief that after the return of the Donbass, we will mobilize not only internal but also external resources… That Russia will not refuse to help in rebuilding the destroyed region”, – told ex-the President of Ukraine.
