The first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, who headed the delegation of Kiev on the negotiations of the contact group on Donbass told about the readiness to compromise to resolve the conflict. It is reported by RIA “Novosti”.

“the Mission is the same: to end the war to Ukraine was peace, that we may live peaceful: no blood, no horror, no loss, no damage. That’s my mission remains to Donbass and Ukraine was the world. I’m going to do everything I can. Let’s compromise…” — he said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

However, what compromises it Kravchuk said.

Former Ukrainian President noted that he intends to make the transition from the General words into “concrete actions” in order to benefit the people and they felt that they were the owners of their land.

Previously, Kravchuk said that one of the compromises on Donbass can be to create a free economic zone there. However, a compromise cannot touch the question of borders, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
