In the list of candidates for election to the Board of Directors of MTS at the annual General meeting of shareholders of the company on June 24 will include several new candidates, the message of the operator. Sagan Kheradpir, member of the Supervisory Board of X5 Retail Group plc and Swiss Ferguson Nadia of Shouraboura and the General Director “the First channel” Konstantin Ernst.The Board of Directors of MTS leave independent Director Antonio Teodosio and Regina von Flemming, as well as managing partners of the parent holding Sistema JSFC Vsevolod Rozanov, Alexei Katkov.The position of Chairman of the Board of Directors will retain the member of Board of Directors AFK “System” Felix Yevtushenkov. The Council will also remain Vice-President, strategy AFK “System” Artem Zassoursky, the President of MTS Alexey Root, Valentin Yumashev and Thomas Holtrop as independent Directors. The Board of Directors also approved the candidacy of Natalia Mikheeva for the position of Director of internal control and audit of MTS.
