Even before the event, the fans booed General Director Vasily Kiknadze. The fans accused him of non-renewal of the contract with the former coach Yuri Semin, and he again called on him to resign.
In response to this Kiknadze gave an emotional speech in which he ruled out his departure from the club at the behest of the fans.
“I hear the cries to Kiknadze left the club. I’m not leaving. I will try to do so, that club was the best and strong. But you go for 20 minutes. What you are doing is a disgrace. Your support is only one you heard: “Get Kiknadze”. What did you do? What is your merit in the fact that the team performed well? Now you can hoot and scream and scream. According to Kiknadze, the decision on the General Director is accepted by the Board of Directors, and he sees no prerequisites to ensure that it addressed the issue of his dismissal.
