The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the international community to pay attention to "repression" that is allegedly for the sixth consecutive year is carried out in the Crimea. This is stated in the statement of the foreign Ministry.

"In the Crimea for the sixth consecutive year massively violated human rights, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar national community. Murder, the kidnapping of activists, trumped-up trials, illegal detention, arbitrary arrests and searches, intimidation. Currently, over a hundred Ukrainian citizens held on political grounds in Russia and occupied Crimea, most of them are Crimean Tatars", – said in a statement.

According to the Ukrainian foreign Ministry, in the Donbass, the situation is "worse than in the Crimea".

According to the authors of the document, "the shooting and killing of the Ukrainian prisoners of war and local patriots, kidnapping, torture and humiliation" became "commonplace".

"Call on the international community to pay special attention to the massive and systematic repression, which for the sixth year in a row occur on the Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory, and to take all measures to put an end to this dreadful phenomenon", – said the Agency.
