Military conflict in the Donbass lasts from spring 2014. Then Lugansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine proclaimed itself an independent Republic (LC and DNI). It happened amid regime change in the country as a result of the Maidan. No state does not recognize the DNI and LC. Official Kiev has since been trying, including force, to establish control over territories.

To resolve the situation in 2015 was developed by the so-called Minsk agreement. Among other things, the document envisages a ceasefire, the withdrawal of foreign forces, exchange of prisoners, restoration of full control over state border from the Ukrainian side. Official Kiev and the separatists have been accusing each other of violation of these points.

Earlier, the head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk national Republic (LNR), Leonid beekeeper urged President Vladimir Zelensky to stop the shelling, which lead the Ukrainian security forces. According to him, otherwise, the LC will again enter full alert mode. Pasechnik noted that two weeks until the country operated a regime on the demarcation line was quiet. However, on 19 June, the shelling killed one civilian LC and three wounded, wrote NEWS.ru.
