The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has congratulated the people of Belarus independence Day and said that he was proud of the friendship of Chechnya and Belarus.
Independence day in Belarus is celebrated on July 3.
According to Kadyrov, "brotherly Belarus celebrates independence Day, which is also considered the official date of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders".
"I sincerely congratulate Alexander Lukashenko and Belarusian people on the national holiday… I’m proud to remind you that between Belarus and regions of Russia, the Chechen Republic, has developed friendships and business relationships", – wrote Kadyrov in his Telegrаm channel.
He stressed that Russia and Belarus are linked by strong economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, and in this great merit of the leaders of the two countries – Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
Kadyrov thanked Alexander Lukashenko, who, according to him, "it is always ready to cooperate " and expressed confidence that economic, sports and cultural ties with Belarus, "will continue to grow with each passing day".
