TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov demanded that the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko released the detainees in the Republic of 33 Russian citizens.

“it is Time for Lukashenka to return “33 heroes” Home. How long can you hold our citizens hostage for committed false pretenses?” – Solovyov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Recall the end of July in Belarus detained the 33 Russians, most of whom were soldiers of a private military company Wagner. It was reported that many of them allegedly participated in the fighting in the Donbass on the side of DND and LNR. Kiev asks Minsk to extradite detained in Belarus Russians who are in Ukraine according to Ukrainian citizens.

The media, citing sources in the Russian special services reported that the detention of the Russians was the result of large-scale provocations organized by Ukrainian law enforcers.

The situation was discussed by the presidents of both countries – Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.

Later, the attorney General’s office of Ukraine has sent to the Prosecutor General of Belarus requests the results 28 of the Russians detained in Minsk.
