About one million Muscovites do not work or are limited in their employment due imposed in connection with the spread of the coronavirus restrictions. This was announced by Deputy mayor of Moscow Vladimir Yefimov, the TV channel “Russia 24”, reports TASS.

According to him, about 15 percent of the economy of the capital are now inactive or are working in a limited mode. These data refer to areas, which imposed direct restrictions.

Earlier the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin has announced a new phased easing of existing restrictive measures in Moscow. According to the head of the city, over the weekend the situation with the spread of the coronavirus continued to improve gradually.
