Strategic Iraq-us dialogue kicks off on 10 June, writes may 31, Asharq Al-Awsat.

The talks will be held for two days. The participants will conduct them in three groups — economic, political, defense. This will be the first phase of strategic dialogue between Washington and Baghdad.

Recall that the event was conceived in December 2019, the Us government confirmed the intention to participate in strategy discussions of relations with Iraq.

As previously reported IA REGNUM, in early April, us Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said, commenting on the upcoming talks that Iraq has two problems — coronavirus and the loss of oil revenues.
