Annual 27-th international Minsk film festival “Listapad” will be held from 6 to 13 November 2020 in Minsk. The organizers believe that the fall of 2020, the festival will be held offline movies on the big screen, lectures, meetings, official ceremonies and live and sincere communication between industry professionals and movie lovers. It is important that the festival was held in the framework of security measures in the unstable epidemiological situation.

“Listapad” is held since 1994. Festival accredited by the International Association of film producers as a competitive specialized film festival of Baltic States, Central Asia, Central Europe. It is the festival of festivals.
the Festival is not only a platform for showing the best films of the year, but for international educational and communication platform: in the framework of the festival there are discussions and workshops aimed at training young filmmakers.
Special guests of the forum were devoted to Alena Babenko, Krzysztof Zanussi, Emir Kusturica, Sergei Loznitsa, Kira Muratova, Alexander Sokurov, and many others.
“Listapad” is to show the best films created in the former Soviet Union.
In its first year the festival was called “post-Soviet film Festival “Listapad””. In 1998, the structure of the festival included a children’s competition “Listapadzik”.

In 2010, the management of the festival have entrusted the Angelica Krashevskaya, program Director for the feature film was Igor Sukmanov who are the leaders now. The festival brought in an updated format. The new programme includes: main feature films competition, young cinema competition, the documentary competition films and the competition of documentary films.
