Indian streaming service Zee5 created a counterpart Chinese application TikTok, blocked in India, reports Bloomberg.

It is reported that the service has launched a platform for HiPi to create and view short 90-second videos, similar to the Chinese app TikTok. Videos can be downloaded as public figures and ordinary users.

According to the head Zee5 Tarun Katial, run the HiPi has nothing to do with the lock TikTok, as the work on the platform began to lock the Chinese apps. However, care TikTok from the market will help Indian companies to compete more effectively with the American Netflix and Disney+.

Earlier it became known that the company Facebook was accused of collecting biometric data of users using the social network Instagram.
