The new rule applies from 2 may.

On may 2 in the Zabaykalsky Krai introduced the rule according to which the inhabitants of the region are required to wear protective masks or respirators to protect against coronavirus when visiting public places. The corresponding decree was signed by the Governor of Transbaikalia Alexander Osipov, the official portal of the region.

It is noted that citizens are required to wear protective masks or respirators in homes, including hallways, elevators and stairwells; in commercial buildings, for example, in the markets; in the courtyards of houses, including playgrounds; public transportation and in the workplace.

The report stresses that mandatory wearing of masks and respirators will help to reduce the risk of infection COVID-19, which is spread by airborne droplets.
