Earlier, the authorities of States and local mass media informed about the 19 victims, more than ten people were injured. Bad weather led to flooding and landslides. Remained without electricity for 750 thousand households in ten States, felled hundreds of trees, damaged hundreds of homes.

According to the newspaper, 11 people died in Mississippi, nine in South Carolina, six in Georgia, the other victims were registered in Arkansas and North Carolina.

According to the Meteorological center of the USA, this “outbreak” tornado became the most deadly over the past eight years. In March 2012, 40 people died in the hurricanes and tornadoes that swept Central and southern United States.
