Member of Council of Federation from Republic of Crimea Sergey Tsekov commented on the decision of the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail mishustina to extend the ban for foreign citizens to visit Russia to improve the situation with coronavirus.
“This is the right decision. Because in the current situation, which turned out to be the whole world because of the pandemic, restrictions on entry to the country are the most reasonable. It is absolutely clear to everyone that the reason for such a large-scale spread of the infection has been and still remains a mass movement of people on the planet,” said the Senator in a conversation with FAN.
According to him, the restrictive measures should be maintained because the only way there is a chance to overcome the coronavirus.
Earlier, Mikhail Mishustin said that the Russian government has extended the ban on the entry of foreigners in Russia.
For its part, the virologist, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Altstein in an interview with radio Sputnik expressed the opinion that easing of the isolation regime in Russia will happen gradually.
