Authorities in Kursk region in connection with the unfavorable epidemiological situation has obliged the residents of the region to wear masks on public transport and the shops, reported the regional administration.

It is noted that the new requirements will be imposed in connection with the unfavorable epidemiological situation and come into force on 7 may.

"When visiting places of purchase of goods, services, implementation and provision of which is not limited, and also when travelling on public transport and taxi citizens are required to use personal respiratory protection (masks, bandages, respirators)", – stated in the message.

In addition, in those cases it is recommended to use protective gloves hygienic.

For violation of the rules of conduct with the introduction of high alert mode provides for fines. According to article 20.6.1 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation for civil penalties range from 1 to 30 thousand rubles, for officials – from 10 to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 100 to 300 thousand rubles.

In the Kursk region 1129 cases of coronavirus, of which 179 have recovered, four died.
