In the dialogue with the client

On how the market is developing in difficult conditions, “the Russian newspaper” said Deputy Director General, chief underwriter SAK “Energogarant” Anton Legchilin.

because of the pandemic, most of these services transferred to remote access, what else has changed in the company?

Anton Legchilin:, We, as the whole country learned quickly to resolve all issues and provide support to clients not only in offices but also remotely. In any case, in accordance with the requirements of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, we are obliged, even in the current situation, to provide customers with quality and prompt service. Citizens and organizations must be able to renew the policy and/or to obtain insurance reimbursement, despite the country’s limitations. We to their customers are now willing to be flexible to address any issues that they have continued confidence in the future, which provides insurance.

Now the situation in the country and in each region is changing so fast that we learned every day to change working conditions so that on the one hand and the current legislation does not violate, and on the other – to guarantee our partners and customers a complete performance of the obligations. Due to the fact that the STORE is a company of Federal, which is present in almost all regions of our country, the current situation could be the most convenient way for the client to combine traditional insurance services, and online services. It now allows us in some areas of the business to acquire new customers, as not all companies are willing during the crisis to be necessary for all flexibility and responsiveness.

At the end of 2019, the company entered into the top 10 in insurance of cargoes and property of legal entities. What was the dynamic in the past year and what to expect in this?

Anton Legchilin: Our company has traditionally been strong on all types of corporate insurance, including insurance of various property and cargo risks. Last year we managed due to its efficient and quality work not only to maintain our existing clients and significantly expand their customer base. The first quarter of this year ended quite successfully, but given the current economic situation in the country to make predictions for this year very difficult. We certainly hope for a speedy completion, or at least to a reasonable easing of the current restrictive measures that negatively affect the entire economy.

the recent decline in some sectors of the economy is very significant, respectively, citizens are also significantly falling income. That is why everyone is very important now to get more wagescountry could continue working.

of Course, it is possible to work now only with some reasonable and necessary in the period of epidemic restrictions, but the more the country operating companies, the more calm occurs in all strata of society and in the economy.

Commit if you have already reduced demand from physical and legal persons? How do you plan to work with companies that find themselves in difficult financial situation due to the pandemic?

Anton Legchilin: From the commencement of the restrictive measures and by legal and natural persons, we see a drop in effective demand for any services (including insurance). We provide our clients with all possible support and are ready to provide them appropriate installment payments. In the dialogue with the client we always find a convenient and effective solution, but the universal “pill crisis” no one, and so we have to individually order each time to find the best possible solutions.

the Company also traditionally the leaders of hull – what is the dynamics of the portfolio looking forward to this year?

Anton Legchilin: around the world comprehensive insurance is one of the important components of the insurance portfolio of each company. At the beginning of the year, we expect comprehensive insurance a small increase (a few percent), but while in the situation when, for example, in Moscow have been closed not only car dealerships, and garages, it is difficult for us to build some reasonable plans before the end of the year. If restrictive measures would be introduced for a few weeks, then, of course, to the end of the year the situation can be corrected. If you continue the same actions restrictions for more than a month, the situation becomes quite difficult to predict.

As a growing segment of the LCA? Do you expect the decline in demand from companies?

Anton Legchilin: the Current situation is very indicative of the whole country, the whole world finally realized how important for us to properly and timely provide medical services. Therefore, we do not see a significant drop in demand for high-quality services on voluntary medical insurance from businesses. The problem right now – many hospitals will shift to combat coronavirus, so some planned medical procedures have to be postponed. Naturally, people are also interested in the purchase of voluntary health insurance policies, but now, unfortunately, not very many for that there are the necessary tools.

What are the options in the LCA are most in demand today?

Anton Legchilin: Today, the most sought-after integrated programme for LCA, which allow to provide routine medical services in clinics and hospitals, and to quickly solve any urgent pconcerns, which, unfortunately, sometimes arise.

In order to save many businesses now have to buy a program with a deductible or with the condition of co-financing by the insured parties, to guarantee a reasonable number of references in the insured institutions and to avoid a situation where workers, instead of to fulfill their job duties all day visiting various unnecessary medical procedures.

Telemedicine really has become a lifesaver for many customers in remote areas and with restrictions in movement and the work of the hospitals. The demand for it is growing, and we believe that telemedicine must be as one of the options of any modern product in the LCA.
