The investment in the development of Russian software in 2030 will be increased four times. On Monday, July 13, announced Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, reports TASS.

“of Course, we will support our Russian developers, and our goal is to increase the volume of investments in the domestic it solutions in four times by 2030”, — said Chernyshenko at the meeting of the presidential Council for strategic development and national projects.

The official also stressed that Russia will continue to work on the orders of President Vladimir Putin on the adoption of Russian software and Russian hardware “wherever possible”.

Support the development of the Russian and the translation of it the state authorities provided by the national project “Digital economy”, approved by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and should be completed by 2024. Only its implementation is planned to allocate more than 1.8 trillion rubles. The objectives of the project are the increase of internal costs for the development of the digital economy at the expense of all sources and the establishment of a stable and secure information and telecommunications infrastructure for high speed transmission, processing and storage of large amounts of data.
