Crimean Authorities have reached with the Federal service of the agreement on the basing on the Peninsula of the aircraft, which is designed to increase the amount of rainfall in the driest time of the year. The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov said on his page on Facebook.
– Potentially use of this aircraft will increase the amount of precipitation of the already formed clouds by 30 percent, while not harming the environment, – wrote Aksenov. – I am sure that by joint efforts and with the help of favorable weather conditions we will cope with all difficulties. Crimea without water will not remain!
Interestingly, scientists have proposed to apply the technology of artificial stimulation of precipitation in the Crimea in 2015. Meteorologists believe that with the help of her Republic could receive an additional two million cubic meters of water per year – as the Peninsula was received from the Dnieper on the system of the North-Crimean canal.
