The specialists of “Mospeada” the daily bypass found in Kuzminsky ponds, coots, shoveler and kamyshny, listed in the Red book of Moscow.

The shoveler is a duck with a big beak visible. Coot and moorhen are a family of rails. It’s a bird with four long fingers on strong legs, which enable them and their Chicks to climb and to walk on floating plants, and bogs.

According to experts, shoveler and coot on natural areas of the capital are now very rare and almost do not nest.

It is the lack of disturbance due to isolation played a role in the emergence of these birds.
