From 8 to 22 August in St. Petersburg for the ninth time held the international festival “Opera for all”. A large-scale project will present masterpieces of Opera in the open air, in a unique architectural ensembles of the Northern capital.
the Festival will open with modest Musorgsky’s Opera “Boris Godunov” at the Cathedral square of the Peter and Paul fortress, put its Director Vadim Chalk-Tovstonogov. 12 August in Gorky Park. S. M. Kirov on Elagin island will perform “mermaid” by Alexander Dargomyzhsky (directed by Igor Arkhipov).
for the First time the venue of the festival will be the Rastrelli square in front of Smolny Cathedral, where on 16 August will present the Opera “the Capulets and the Montagues” by Vincenzo Bellini directed by Dmitry Ochakovskogo.
the festival will End on August 22 with Mozart’s “the Magic flute” at the main parade ground of the Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo – directed by Victor Vysotsky, the conductor, Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo, the orchestra “Northern Symphony” theatre “Music-Hall”.
on the opening day of the festival under one of the Opera songs divorce leaves the Palace bridge. Work have to choose the users of the social network Vkontakte.
