In this situation, the Agency for promotion of investment (API) Samara region took part in a series of online events using topical at the moment, the formats of communication with international partners. In June, the IPA participated in the first international online forum R2R organized by the chamber of Commerce and industry of Samara region in the framework of international cooperation and exports. The purpose of the participation of IPAS in this event was to identify potential points of interaction with foreign companies. The IPA staff presented the investment potential of the region to foreign partners from Germany, France and the Netherlands.

On the territory of the Samara region has more than 450 enterprises with participation of foreign capital, among which a considerable part is occupied by European companies. Over the past ten years the volume of investments into the Samara region reached 33 billion Euro, which indicates a favorable investment climate in the region.

the events in the online format allows the region to preserve and strengthen the existing cooperation with foreign investors that do not yet have the opportunity to visit Samara oblast due to obstacles created in the context of pandemic COVID-19, to hold B2B talks with the country associations, potentially interested in the development of the region representatives of foreign companies, as well as to demonstrate the availability of the necessary infrastructure for business development.

In particular, the region is a special economic zone of industrial-production type “Togliatti”. By the end of 2019 it is among the five most attractive Russian SEZ of industrial-production type on the provision of infrastructure. The territory of advancing socio-economic development “Togliatti” – the most successful platform in Russia by the number of residents – there was 75. Also in the region established the territory of advancing socio-economic development, “Chapaevsk”, state and private industrial parks.

IPAS, as a “single window”, for quick and comfortable interaction with investors provides services advise on possible state and Federal support, assistance in selection of land, and also contributes to the removal of administrative barriers at realization of investment projects.
