At the end of the first half of 2020 average cost per square meter in the secondary housing market in Russia amounted to 72.2 thousand roubles, having decreased for six months at 5 per cent, in early January, a “square” is 75.8 per thousand. This is stated in the materials of CYAN, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru”.

In the annual dynamics (relative to June 2019) “secondary housing” fell by 4 percent, analysts estimated. By July 2020, the cost of the average apartment (56 square meters) in the secondary market fell to 3.56 million rubles. In January the figure was 3.74 million rubles, a year ago — and 3.72 million.

“In the second quarter, much of which was kept in total isolation because of the epidemic of the coronavirus, the average cost per square meter in the secondary market of the Russian Federation started to decline: in April the drop was small, only 1 percent, by the end of may per square meter fell on average in the country by 5 percent, a partial rebound from its fall in June (plus 0.9 percent compared to may). Thus, after removing all restrictions, the market could not immediately return to pre-crisis levels, despite the formation of deferred demand for two months”, — stated in the CYANOGEN.

Earlier, in April, the secondary housing market in Russia predicted the fall into a coma. The number of deals with the “secondary” in the foreseeable future will be reduced to a minimum, warned analysts.
