the Number of working foreigners employed in the Russian economy and coming to our country on the basis of a work visa may be reduced in 2021 to 104 993 people, reported “RG” in the press service of the Ministry of labor. It is the Agency responsible for determining the need to attract foreign workers from countries whose nationals to enter Russia should obtain a visa. This year, the quota size is 144 583 persons.
“This quota must be formed by November 15, the draft document is a public discussion, – explained the press service. – Decline in the share of foreign workers is planned in such fields as real estate management, maintenance activities of buildings and grounds; forestry and logging, manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture, and several others.”
While the Ministry has stressed that it is only part of labor migrants. Citizens of the States entitled to enter Russia without a visa (for example, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan), fall under the responsibility of the Ministry of internal Affairs.
If the draft document will be adopted without changes, then come to work in Russia only a part of the foreign workers employed in mining, capital construction and repair-construction works.
