The former President of the constitutional court (KS) Moldova Vladimir Turcan has challenged the close of the COP the judges ‘ decision to dismiss him and to appoint in his place the Domnica Manole. As REGNUM was informed in the Secretariat of the COP, the court will consider the request Turcan 15-day period.

The acting Chairman of the constitutional court Domnica Manole said that this will not happen before the consideration of the COP the issue of the Russian loan of 200 million Euro, which is scheduled for may 7.

As stated in an interview to IA REGNUM, the Moldovan political scientist Alexander Angeli, President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, whose person is considered Turcan, thereby “trying to take revenge in the struggle for the constitutional court of Moldova.”

As previously reported IA REGNUM, the Moldovan opposition has challenged in the constitutional court the Parliament’s decision of 23 March on ratification of the agreement on granting to Moscow of a loan of €200 million. the Money was supposed to partially cover the budget deficit of Moldova in 2020.

The COP decided to suspend the parliamentary decision. It is at the request of the opposition checks the conformity to the Constitution of Moldova.

Before considering this issue, the COP was suspended from the post of Chairman Vladimir Turcan, one of the associates of the President Igor Dodon, and appointed to the post Domnica Manole.
