In Kiev prepared for the lifting of the quarantine

the Kyiv Authorities have developed a scheme of gradual abolition of restrictive measures imposed because of the pandemic coronavirus. This was stated by the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitaly Klitschko, transfers “Interfax-Ukraine”.

According to him, the plan of withdrawal of quarantine will be implemented after Kiev will be the peak incidence COVID-2019. It is expected that this will occur within one to two weeks, the authorities have already prepared to act according to the example of Western countries, where restrictions are gradually removed.

“I talk with the mayors of the cities of Europe, with leaders of some States. Analyze how and what they do in this situation,” said Klitschko, adding that the leadership understands the need to revive the economy.

Earlier, the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said that the quarantine in the country may be extended after April 24, however, if the epidemiological situation will allow, citizens can expect some relief regime.

From 6 April in Ukraine, has tightened measures to combat coronavirus: limited the movement of people for time spent on the street, prohibited events, people are obliged to be in public places only in the presence of PPE. According to recent data, in Ukraine, the coronavirus has infected 5710 people, 151 have died.
