Experts of the Ministry of interior suggested ways out of the migration situation, which could get worse in Russia because of the pandemic coronavirus.
The Department has prepared forecasts of the situation in the sphere of migration considering various force majeure factors arising in the background of the pandemic. According to them, the situation may develop as in optimistic and pessimistic scenario, as the composition of vulnerable groups has been unprecedented the number of migrants, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the interior Ministry, during the pandemic in the country are from 4 to 12 million foreigners, and officially registered only 2.5 million of them.
"Analysts have suggested to officially declare a legal Amnesty for migrants in an irregular or semi-legal status, who have not committed crimes to get them, so to speak, out of the shadows and hold a mass state registration", — told a source in Department.
Also consider the possibility to introduce, in addition to the legal Amnesty, measures of social support of migrants.
Wrote NEWS.ru previously, the number of people attempting to illegally enter the territory of Russia is not reduced, said the first Deputy Director of FSB — the head of the Border service of FSB of Russia Vladimir Kulishov. Last year it was revealed more than 6,000 of these attempts.
