Despite some recovery in sales in January, according to the results of the February new car market returned to normal contraction. However, a complete picture at the moment do not have even the Association of European businesses.
In February, according to data of AEB, there were sold 119 073 of the car. This is 2% less than in the same month in 2019. However, the situation on the market now may be not quite what it really is: analysts do not have enough information for analysis.
“Given that some brands ceased to publish data on monthly sales (around the world, including Russia), the overall picture of the market at the moment is not complete. Next month, AEB will publish a quarterly report, which is expected to reflect the total sales of all brands represented in Russia, for the first 3 months of 2020”, – said the Chairman of automobile manufacturers Committee of the AEB Joerg Schreiber. I should add that by “some brands” refers primarily to German companies – BMW and Daimler, which collectively occupy quite a significant share of the premium segment.

It has grown significantly and the sales of cars of mark Suzuki in February of last year, the Japanese sold 231 cars in the past month – has 621 instance.
